Activities

The cold dish
At Club Le Cannelle you have a cold dish for lunch. Stella will serve it where you are, inside a picnic basket with dishes and glasses…every day a different menu!

Sun beds on to the sea
Club Le Cannelle is directly on a cliff with three accesses to the sea. You have to stay on the rocks and it is not really comfortable...that's why we place sun beds at your disposal. Because it is a good thing being able to renounce to comfort, but it will be better to have it!!

The "dinner" of wild pigs
At 7:00 PM, Stella and Antonio serve dinner to wild pigs. Three generations of a boar family rush at that call and the guests have the possibility to admire them, but keeping at a safe distance!.

Trails in the Nature Park
A nature trail leads to a panoramic area named Punta del Corvo. Here you find a covered roof-terrace and you have the possibility to admire a wonderful panorama of the coast and part of the Tuscan Archipelago. Walking immersed in the nature you find, shortly after, a deviation to arrive at another panoramic zone and to a wood with holm- oaks.

Another nature trail goes through the maquis and arrive at a little rocky beach near the tower called “Le Cannelle”. The trail continues and comes to a ridge in the zone “Apparita”.

A path gives you the possibility to arrive at the “Grotta del Brigante Stoppa”, a nature gorge whose name is that of a bandit who was born and has lived in the zone of Talamone.

A ride with a Buttero
You have the possibility to reserve a ride with a Buttero. He comes with a horse for you and he guides you through the nature trails of the Park. He stops where you can admire the most suggestive view or a particular plant and he tells you his experiences.

Paolo the Fisherman
…Time to throw the nets and get some fish with Paolo the Fisherman…then you can clean and eat just-fished seafood… you can visit the caves and the suggestive rocks of the Nature Park of Maremma…you have the possibility to see and to feed turtles, whose confidence Paolo has gained slowly, year after year. Paolo comes early in the morning with his rubber boat and he let you live a day like a “real” fisherman!

Diving
Are you keen on underwater sports, but you want to remain at Club Le Cannelle? No problems!!!
We have reached an agreement with a Diving Centre: they come at the beach near the Villa al Mare and then they will let you reach various dipping zones where you can admire coloured sea floors, sloughed walls, caves and gorges coloured by sponges…
“Isola Argentarola” is well known for its big gorgonias, barracudas and the suggestive cave where you can see stalactics and stalagmitics.
Just a short time of navigation (about half an hour) , you find the marine park of Giannutri with its limpid water and a various fauna to admire. Immersions are at the border with a prohibited area.
The most expert divers have the possibility to see, at a depth of 60 meters, the wreck of NASIM II merchant ship, sank in 1976 out to Cala Maestra.

Not only Diving...
You can, with only an underwater mask, admire the wonderful dephts of the little bays around Le Cannelle.
